The student chapter for the batch 2017-2019 in association with Madras Management Association was initiated by group captain Dr.R.Venkat Raman. The Chapter provides a great opportunity to mingle and meet industries senior people and network with them.

School of Management (SOM) ofD.G. Vaishnav College has organized its First International Conference on "Implementation Strategies for Sustainable Innovations" on 25.10.2017.It was an great opportunity to disseminate knowledge on Innovation &Sustainability.The inaugural session was preceded by Mr. Ashok Kumar Mundhra, Secretary and Dr. T. Santhanam , Principal D.G. Vaishnav College. The conference was chaired by Smt. Mridhula Ramesh, Executive Director, Sundaram Textiles Ltd. ; Mr. Pramod Kumar Dubey, Business Analyst, Fifth - Third Bank Corp, USA; Smt. Pavithra Sri Prakash , Co - Founder & Director , SGBL Studios and Gp. Captain Dr. R.Venkatraman, GM, MMA. Journal in CD with 140 Articles with ISSN Number with Impact Factor was released by Chief Guest and received by Conference Director Dr. U. Amaleshwari and Conference Convener Dr. K.R.Kolammal.
